5th Annual Cornhole Tournament & Family Fun Day
The 5th Annual Matthew;s Crew Cornhole Tournament and Family Day was a huge success!
Thank you to all the Sponsors, Donors and especially all of you who make up the Matthew;s Crew Community! You all showed up on a blessed sunny Saturday for what was possibly our best year yet! We had ages 1-84 represented this year and it is safe to say that there was something for everyone!
Thank you again to Boston Baggs Co for a seamless and fun tournament, to Paisani Food Truck and Ellies Treats for a most delicious lunch, and to Animal Craze for sharing their baby animals with us and demonstrating how therapeutic interactions with animals of all kinds can be! We are grateful to Samaritans, NAMI, Gavin Foundation and Aspire Health Alliance for spending time with us and offering information on the many and varied mental health services they offer in our local communities.
Finally, special thanks to Norfolk County Sheriff's Department for sharing their incredible facility with us. It was a wonderful space and we are very grateful!

Better, Not Bitter - How to transform pain into Purpose
Matthew;s Crew is excited to sponsor Joey Pontarelli. Joey is a great speaker who has been endorsed by Dr. Bob Schuchts, Bishop Samuel Aquila of Denver, CO, and Jason Evert! We are honored that he has agreed to fly from Colorado to speak here in Quincy.
Teens in grades 6-12 and all adults are welcome. There will be free pizza!
5th Annual Christmas Gift Drive
This was our 5th annual gift drive to benefit Franciscan Children's Hospital Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Unit. We were so grateful to the Matthew;s Crew Community Members who donated over 80 gifts for the kids who spent their Christmas in-patient at FCH. We are also honored to have Annie's Kindness Blankets partner with us this year allowing us to deliver not only the donated gifts but a beautiful and cozy handmade blanket for each child who spent their Christmas in the hospital this year!
Samaritans 5K Run/Walk for Suicide Prevention
Team Matthew;s Crew will be participating in the Samaritans 5K for Suicide Prevention for the 5th year in a row! Since 2020 Team Matthew;s Crew has raised over $25,000 to help support the lifesaving work done by Samaritans.
Since 1974, Samaritans has helped millions of people find hope in human connection, whether they are struggling with their own mental health, worried about someone else, or grieving a suicide loss.
In 2022, nearly 50,000 lives were lost to suicide in the U.S., the highest rate since 1941. The free services provided by Samaritans are needed more than ever. Please donate today to support Samaritans and help us reach our goal.
The 50 year impact of Samaritans includes:
3 million calls, texts, and chats answered
180,000 people educated
17,000 suicide loss survivors supported
6,500 volunteers trained to provide empathetic support

4th Annual Cornhole Tournament
Boston Baggo Company will be running an exciting tournament again this year. Expect tasty treats from Paisani Food Truck & Ellie’s Ice Cream.
Local and National Mental Health Organizations will be present to offer information and provide resources.
